Flurries

We have been busy.

Since sometime in August.  We have had a flurry of Grandparent from the States visiting, Queensland flying, 1-year-old turning, Melbourne flying, Messenger Award Gala attending, sick employee covering couple of months.  Whew.  Trip has held up like a champ.  He flew to both Queensland and Melbourne (3 and 1 1/2 hours respectively) without too much of a drama.  (On our last flight the person sitting directly in front of Trip even turned around and said, "wow!  He sure flew well, didn't he?"  What a Proud Mama Moment!)

Now we're back and trying to get settled into a normal routine.  One where we can spend some time at home, instead of taking naps in a stroller at the shop, sandwiched between boxes of muffin liners and paper bags.  Where we can try to catch up with all of Trip's friends who have been turning one and who just keep growing!  We can enjoy this beautiful Spring weather by playing in the yard and maybe even doing some laundry.

It's good to be home.

His favorite new way to tell me that it is nap time!
